DESIGN LED PROCESS
Advanced construction technologies hold many advantages over traditional construction techniques. The systems that Selo Precrafted use to design, and build are all about the rapid construction of quality buildings, to deliver a faster return on investment and new business opportunities.
Design-led building methodology enables us to shift skills and expertise upstream and off-site, accelerating the engineering and building processes and ensuring a higher degree of quality control and precision. This makes the process perfectly suited for remote locations. Pre-manufacture of construction components allowed for design and construction processes to be run in parallel, also saving considerable time and money.

Design & Engineering Stage
Selo Precrafted construction is a design-led process, meaning that the need for skill to construct the building is more in the design stage rather than on-site, which is perfectly suited for remote locations.
- 2
Manufacture & Panelisation Stage
Selo Precrafted frames and components are produced and fabricated from structural quality steel coils produced by global Australian leaders BlueScope and are shaped at ambient temperatures by roll-forming machines.
Our systems can be produced in large quantities and at high speed with consistent quality and precision.

Construction Phase
Our frame fabricators supply frames pre-assembled, strong and straight, and clearly identifiable. No on-site welding or cutting is normally required. This means that the erection process is fast and simple – requiring less labor time on-site and heavy-lifting equipment.
Steel frames do not absorb moisture so there is no delay waiting for frames to dry. This means minimized weather delays for rain or excessive heat, for example.
“Selo’s Precrafted Villas are manufactured in a workshop environment off-site in advance (usually in standard sections that can be easily shipped and assembled) with a set production process, which means they are much faster to build and more cost-effective for owners.”
